ABOUT Vasyl Ghanimian, LCSW, SEP
My passion for advocacy and service work led to pursuing graduate studies in social work. I have continuously sought to deepen my understanding of human behavior and learn ways to empathically and competently facilitate micro, mezzo and macro level change.
My familiarly with forensic issues in social work includes past experience as a Psychiatric Social Worker Intern within the juvenile branch of the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office and over 5 years of intensive work providing outpatient mental health services to members of various racial and ethic groups who have been impacted by immigration-related hardships.
I continue refining my skills in clinical assessment and treatment through exploring current research, obtaining consultation, and continuing my education to earn a second master's degree.
